This exercise reminded me of Zen Meditation exercise when you focus on slow and deep breathing. In Zen exercise it's not how many breath's because you want to take but deep slow breath which helps you to breath out stress that makes me feel so relaxed. This exercise really made me feel relaxed to a point that I felt tired. I think focusing on breathing helped me stay relaxed and help me from my mind consistanly running during this exercise. Many people have hard time doing this kinds of exercise because your mind tend to go everywhere and it's hard to stay focused.
I really benefited from this exercise and I will continue to use this during times of stress or when Im alone at the beach, this would benefit me greatly. It's amazing how easily it was for me to stay focus during this exercise and it made it easy to relax and concentrate on my breathing.

Love and kindness
Love and Kindness exercise was hard for me. When it comes to love and kindness I look for more physical as well as mental It was hard for me to relax and follow the video on this assignment. Maybe I had a stressful day and could not get my mind to focus but it was very difficult for to stay relaxed without my mind running.
I would recommend all the videos in this class to my friends. This unit assignment might of not affected me like the past assignemnts, but that doesn't mean someone else would benefit from listning to this video.
For me "mental workout" is just like a guy who walks into the gym to workout physically. Although you are lifting weights and doing cardio to build muscle and lose fat, the mind workout means such as meditation to help the mind to use more capacity. Meditation is a excellent mental workout and love and kindess and subtle mind are great example of ways of exercising the mind.

Crime of the century
This is just like the video exercise we did last week. I really like how focusing on breathing helps me feel relaxed while easing my mind. I especially like the part when they talked about seven colors of the rainbow related to your body. When your doing this exercise while picturing what the narrator is saying helps me visisualize while still focusing on my breathing. This exercise really made me concentrate on my internal feelings and emotions while helping me relieve my stress from work.

Relaxation technique
I have done many relaxation exercises in the past but this techniques really made me focus on specific area of my body. I try to relax my arms because they are very tense and this exercise really made my arm feel limp and relaxed. Like the video talking about muscle being like a sponge. This technique helped me relax from inside my core out to my body. I really think this is something everyone should do everyday after work or exercise to feel relax and de-stressed. Visualize and keeping your mind blank is very important.
